| //Courtney:// We kept up the tradition of a Lone Mountain hike while visiting my parents. No one fell in a cactus this time! We variously scooted and walked to the trailhead with my family, and then the four of us took off for the mountain. We reached the peak quickly, and I was struck by how that has changed over the years! We added some stones to the cairn at the top. We spotted my parents' house and waved to them and to Ian, who were looking through the telescope in the back yard.
